Why so much agile, yet so little agility?

Why do we have so much agile but so little agility? Because intentions to do something and training for it is one thing, actually doing that is another ball game. The gap between intentions and actions is wide.

The attention that processes and tools get is far more than creating interactions within individuals.

User stories are more about documenting requirements than conversations to create software that works incrementally and iteratively.

Acceptance criterias and definition of ready & done are tools for documenting agreements rather than facilitating collaboration.

Calendars drive plans rather than the unfolding events and evolving situations.
